Sentul, Siberriau – President Prabowo Subianto delivered instructions and opened the 2026 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) between the Central and Regional Governments, held at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor Regency, West Java, on Monday (February 2, 2026). The event, organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), aimed to synergize the central and regional governments in supporting the President's priority programs.

In his remarks, the President expressed his appreciation to Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian and his staff for organizing the forum. The President expressed his admiration for the enthusiasm of the regional heads and agency leaders in attendance. "My heart is moved to see, hear, and feel your enthusiasm," the President said.

Moreover, the event brought together all elements of the central and regional governments, from the Red and White Cabinet, regional heads, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the leadership of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and other relevant officials.

"It is an honor and a source of pride for me to be able to attend this special event and meet with all of you from all corners of the country," he said.

Furthermore, the President emphasized the importance of all levels of government understanding their respective roles and responsibilities. He emphasized that the people hope and desire the presence of leaders who are just, honest, and work for the benefit of the people. "They don't like leaders who only advance their personal interests," he explained.

The President also highlighted the importance of vigilance regarding evolving global dynamics. He invited all government leaders to understand the nation's history and the challenges facing the international community that could directly impact Indonesia.

Furthermore, the President urged all elements of government to unite, regardless of political differences, to address poverty and improve the quality of life for the people. "I was elected today; I will work for all Indonesian people," he explained.

On this occasion, the President also emphasized the importance of food self-sufficiency as a key pillar of the nation's independence and prosperity. According to him, food self-sufficiency is an absolute requirement for all Indonesians to live decent and prosperous lives.
